Production: one barrel only (280 bottles)

"A color between gold and amber. A fine flint-smoky tone covering the fruit and the flavor of the wine with caramelized apples, raisins, dry fruits. On the palate, surprisingly fresh, even a gripping acidity, which eliberates the wine from its oxidative notes, slightly oily in consistency, cinnamon and nutmeg, dark chocolate and some candied orange peel, and slightly nutty-sweet Rancio, very long finish. 95 points."
Fallstaff Magazin 8/11
"The best sweet wines in the world"

Király-hegy, the "King Mountain", situated near Mád, was mentioned among the eight most wellknown dülö-s of Hegyalja in 1963. The vineyard classification rates Király-hegy as a first class growth. Famous nobleman once possessed tracts in this vineyard, including Prince Esterházy, Count Wolkenstein, Count Zichy and Count Batthyány. Also the Andrássy family had property here. Count George Andrássy founded the Tokaj-Hegyalja Wine-Grower Association in 1857, which published the classic Tokaj-Hegyaljai Album of 1867. The name "Kiraly" was used to refer to vineyards that belonged to the king. There are also vineyards named "Kiraly" in Mala Trnava (Slovakian side), Tarcal, Mezözombor and Sárospatak.
